- Dungeons Help
- ===============
- Dungeons is a fantasy type game where your goal is to build your character
- up and make him/her as strong as possilbe. You start out with some gold, but
- no equipment at all. You can use your starting gold to buy equipment
- (equipment meaning armor, missiles, or weapons) and to expand your castle.
- You gain gold in the Dungeons, by jousting other players, defeating them
- in combat, gambling, or taking gold from the monsters you slay. You gain
- experience by killing monsters and other users in combat.
- You also have a castle. You can store your gold inside the Castle as long
- as it's standing. You can expand your estate by purchasing land, adding onto
- your castle, hiring more serfs and archers, and buying more catapults and
- towers.
- In order to win the game of Dungeons, you must be the first person to reach
- the 25th level and have 200,000 in property value.
-
- The Shopping Mall:
- - At the Mall, you can purchase your equipment (armor, missiles, and weapons)
- and various items to expand your estate.
-
- Jousting:
- - You can joust other players to get gold. You have a joust skill. Your
- joust skill determines how good you are at jousting.
-
- Combat:
- - Within the Dungeons, you can fight other players or you can fight monsters.
- Combat begins at missile range, you have the option to Advance for hand to
- hand combat, Retreat, or Fight.
-
- Castles:
- - You start the game with a little mini-castle. It's 8 units large, with
- one tower, 40 acres, 16 catapults, and a little mini-army of 1,000 serfs and
- 100 archers. You must expand your caslte to protect your gold. To do this
- you may purchase land, add on to your castle, hire serfs and archers, and
- build towers and catapults. The stronger your castle, the less the chance of
- having you caslte bombarded into ruins.
-
- Teams:
- - When you are on a team, you can transfer gold and castle items (serfs,
- archers, towers, etc.) to your teammates. You are not permitted to attack
- castles of your teammates, nor are they allowed to engage teammates in combat.
-
